NIC Email Lists
The Conference hosts several email lists in order to help our members communicate with each other more effectively. Each list can be accessed via the Lyris web interface, where you can read/post messages, join or leave a list, or edit your individual member settings. A Lyris web interface tutorial is available to help you get started.
You can send email directly to any discussion list you are a member of. Simply send the email to listname@lyris.nicumc.org (replacing listname with the actual name of the list). You cannot send email to announcement lists.

Nicemail is an open discussion list for the members of the NIC. Anyone can join the list, and any member of the list can post messages to the list.

Nicnews is an announcement list for the NIC. Anyone can join the list, but only select Conference leadership can post messages to the list. Use this list to keep yourself informed of Conference happenings.

A ministry of Indiana Area Communications, e-HUM (Electronic Hoosier UM News) is an announcement list that allows subscribers to receive late-breaking news and Church resources via email.
